There are two ways to log into Wooclap to participate in an activity as a student. Ask your instructor which one you should use!
To use this tool, you will need a stable internet connection. For best results, we recommend connecting your device to AirPennNet, rather than the guest network or cellular data. If you have multiple devices you are not using, consider disconnecting unused devices from the wifi to improve connection speed in large classrooms.
Participate via Canvas
If your instructor has connected Wooclap to Canvas, you must access the activity through Canvas. This is the only way to respond to questions and the only way to receive credit if the activity counts for a grade.
- Go to your Canvas course. You may use a desktop or mobile browser or the Canvas Student app.
- Click Assignments and open the assignment your instructor has directed you to access.
- Click the button to Open [assignment title] in new window.
- In the window that appears, you will be able to answer Wooclap questions as your instructor displays them on the screen. Be sure to click Submit to enter your response and receive credit for your answer!
Participate via Wooclap (no Canvas use)
If your instructor is not connecting this activity to Canvas, you can participate by accessing
Wooclap directly.
- Go to www.wooclap.com and enter the alphanumeric code displayed on the classroom screen, OR scan the QR code on the screen.
- If your instructor requires you to log in, you will be prompted to enter your PennKey and password. Your PennKey is the first part of your Penn email address (PennKey@upenn.edu).
- Answer the questions as they appear on the screen. Be sure to click Submit to enter your response!
