Are you . . .
struggling with setting up Assignments, Quizzes, and the Gradebook in Canvas? Or are you exasperated with the more esoteric functions of Canvas’s assessment tools? Or perhaps you can’t tell the difference between a Question Bank and a Question Group but need to know before working on your course’s first exam? If you’ve answered “Yes” to any of these questions, then we’ve got just the event for your–the Canvas Gradebook Boot Camp!
This workshop will begin by showing the basics of the Canvas gradebook and some tips and tricks about using the gradebook from the library Canvas support staff and the Center for Teaching and Learning. Then for the most part, this workshop will provide participants with structure and time to get started on their own Canvas gradebook. The facilitators from the library and from CTL will be there to answer questions and help when they can. Participants can come for some or all of the time. Laptops will be provided to participants who want them or participants may bring their own.
The Canvas Gradebook Boot Camp will take place on Thursday, September 10th, 1-3pm in the WIC Seminar Room. To register, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
